About Us

Bill Overby, the company's founder, was a kid working side by side with his uncle doing drywall. He developed his skills over the years, and after working for others in the industry, he started his own company Overby Drywall in 1989. Since then he has grown his drywall operations in the Richmond area to where Overby Drywall, Drywalls between 500-600 homes a year. We achieve this by maintaining relationships, competitive pricing, and outstanding service to our builders and their clients.

In 2014 we opened our painting division to provide a combined drywall and painting contractor. We find that it's easier for our builders and clients to communicate with one company instead of two. With combining both services, we believe it provides a higher quality product and finish and saves time from potential schedule conflicts with two separate companies. We currently paint between 250-350 homes a year.

We pride ourselves on our family business values giving a friendly, personable experience to everyone. While also being able to serve a large area and volume of clients.
