Habitat for Humanity uses funds raised by its ReStores to help build\, rehabilitate and repair more homes in partnership with low-income families. \n \n\n"The opening of the new ReStore marks the latest step in our efforts to eliminate poverty housing in the Greater Richmond area\," said Jane Helfrich\, CEO of Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity. "We thank our supporters\, our ReStore shoppers and the Richmond metro community for helping to make this ReStore a huge success."\n \n\nThe grand opening celebration on Saturday\, April 28 will feature food trucks\, entertainment\, children's activities\, doorbuster prizes and special guests from Richmond's Mix 98.1 FM radio station\, from 10AM to 7PM. The new location at 1201 Mall Drive is adjacent to the Chesterfield Towne Center.\n \n\nRichmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity will continue to operate its original ReStore location at 1901 Roane Street in Richmond's Northside. \n \n\nHabitat ReStores rely on the generous donation of new and gently used household items\, building supplies and furniture to help Habitat create homeownership opportunities.
