Builder Blitz 2016

Builder Blitz 2016 will bring members of the housing industry from all over Virginia to the State Capitol to meet with their legislators and urge them to support our Cash Proffer Reform legislation and other bills that will keep housing affordable in the Commonwealth. 

Over the last year, members of the HBAV Legislative Committee have been crafting legislation that will bring equity to the cash proffer system in Virginia.  We need to show our Delegates and Senators that the industry is fully behind this legislation by showing up in numbers on January 26th.  We hope that you will join us - and bring your staff and other HBAR members to help support this important piece of legislation.

We will meet the Richmond Omni Hotel at 9AM for a quick informational session about the bill.  At 9:30AM, we will walk three blocks up the street to the State Capitol to begin meeting with legislators.  Meetings will conclude around 11:00AM.
